Road Sign Panels Traffic Grey Back
We stock both 3mm ACM and 2.85mm Solid Aluminium sheet for Road Sign applications, both with Traffic Grey coloured backs:-
- The Aluminium Composite Material panel is 3mm thick, with a polyethylene core sandwiched between a 0.3mm thick aluminium skin on either side.The 'front' is either white or grey, ready for your graphics, whilst the back is RAL 7042 (Traffic Grey A)
- The Solid Aluminium sheet is 11swg (2.85mm) thick and has RAL 7042 on one side and is 'mill finish' (no colour) on the other.
- Corners can be cut square or rounded at no additional charge. You choose the most appropiate radius for your panel size.
- We use matching grey small or medium fixing rail on all the panels, 50mm shorter than the width of the panel, and at your custom position. (minimum 2 rails). They are applied horizontally onto the matt side with UHB tape, applied as the manufacturers instruction, including the use of adhesion promoter.
- We stock a huge range of stainless steel fixings, from 13mm Mini 'D' Clips for small diameter bars, - up to 140mm diameter posts, together with a range of square & rectangular Sign Clips.
Pros and Cons
- The ACM version is lighter & cheaper and has no theft value.
- The solid aluminium is generally required by the Department of Transport for most main road signwork.
